Open Roof Design

This is the latest design for open roof concept. The LAL is open in the middle of this building. The outdoor roving area is 18 feet X 19 feet. All is full with water at the outdoor roving area. This design is good for the area that have strong wind and for the area that have no river near the BH. This swiftlet need water !!!!

Start To Convert a New BH Again At Alor Setar

Yesterday start a new swiftlet house again. This BH is located at Alor Setar. This is an old shop lot that located about 15 minute from city plaza. This BH size is about 20 X 70 feet. I am using an open roof design. I open at the middle of this shop lot. A hold about 10 feet x 12 feet will be open an below it will attach with a small pool.

Finally Finish 2 New Swiftlet House

Today we finish all the renovation work in time. One is a standalone BH and one more is the shop lot.

This standalone BH is located about 15 minute drive from Kuala Kedah. The size is 112.5 feet( L ) X 40 feet ( w ) X 42 feet ( H ). This is one of the bigger farm at Kedah.

This is the LAL. The LAL size is about 20 feet X 8 feet.

This is the outdoor roving area. This roving area is 20 feet X 40 feet !!!! This is the same design from a BH that is located at Sanglang Kedah that already have 3000 nest in 3 year time.

This pictured show the famous BH contractor " Ah Pak " that is standing at the LMB. The LMB size is 5 feet X 7 feet.

This is the internal roving area and the size are 12 feet X 40 feet.

Another BH is the shop lot one that is located at Jitra. The tweeter are connected at the top of the nesting plank.

The pictured is the open roof design of this shop lot. The size is 8 feet X 12 feet that have a small pool attach under this open roof. The LMB of this BH is only 32 inch X 18 inch.

New Bird Call Tester

After few week in R&D, finally, this new bird call tester is design !! This unit is using DSP for decode the signal from a SD card or USB. So this unit can be plug and play the MP3 format from your SD card or USB. This unit are using the 300 watt car AMP and connect with 4 tweeter. It can support to 50 pcs tweeter.

The power that is using are only 12 volt that u can plug in the car or just add a battery on the connect that i design. Besides that, now i still upgrade this unit to be Portable with the solar cell. Now i just wait the solar cell from Germany!!! I will let you know when this solar cell design is success.

95% Finish

Today morning received a call from Mr P and asking me to do a bird call test at Bukit Pinang about 15 KM from Jitra town Kedah. When we reach there is about 930am and after 30 minute test, only 8 bird show.

After that, we when back to Jitra to monitor the new BH and all the work almost done. We now doing the wiring work and attach all the tweeter on it. This BH we are using the Nikkon tweeter with 2 X 5 inch. This tweeter is about RM 3.00 per pcs.

From the pictured , you can see the LMB . The LMB size is 2 X 1.5 feet.

After monitor this BH, we when to a 22 day BH about 11 am. From the CCTV, we can saw a lot of bird is flying in and out from the LMB and got some already hanging on the tweeter. After verify all the PA system, i close the CCTV and then lock this BH again. I will not enter this BH until this Jan 2009 because from the monitor we can saw the qty of bird is still + + +.

80% Finish

Today wake up about 8 am. After taking a bath and having breakfast, i when to Jitra to monitor the new BH. All the worker now is doing the cleaning process and attach a small pool under the open roof.

After that, i call Ah Pak and we go the SG Petani to visit Mr Harry farm. His farm is located at the wrong place because there have no flying path. However, Mr Harry is a very powerful Guy that manage to attract all the wild bird in his BH and making nest for him. His BH have a very good result.

After having a talk with him, we go to BM for our new BH project. The pictured show the BH land.

We are going to built a 19 X 54 feet BH at this land. After getting all the data, we going to design this BH with open roof design. I will post this swiftlet house progress from step to step and hope all of you can learn from this blog on how to design a good bird house.

New Swiftlet House is Under Modify

In this week. I need to setup 3 swiftlet house. Two is convert from shop lot to a swiftlet hotel and one more is a stand alone one. All this BH need to be operated in Nov.

This is the stand alone one. This unit need to be finish in this 2 week time. The size of this BH is 20 feet X 40 feet X 3 story. This unit is located at about 15 Km from alor setar at located in the middle of padi Field. From the pictured , u can see that this BH have too much of ventilation hold. total is 74 4 inch ventilation hold per floor. All this hold will be close during the aroma treatment.

This one is a shop lot that located at Jitra. The size is 20 X 60 feet. I going to design this shop lot with a open roof type and going the place the nesting plank with hanging type.

One more is located at Alor setar. I will post the pictured when by this few day.
