Surabaya Bird House

The Internet line here is very slow. I will post more pictured of the BH at Surabaya. From the pictured, you can see that most of the Bird House LMB is only 15 cm X 60 cm. According to the local, 98% of the BH here is window type and not using Sound system but still got very success BH here. From my observation, the swiftlet here species is not the same with Malaysia. The body of the swiftlet is Grey colour.

To Blitar Surabaya

Blitar is a town that located about 180 KM from Surabaya.It need about 4 hour drive from Junda Airport. Below is one of the Hotel that is located at Blitar Town. The hotel rate is very LOW about 75 ringgit per room. With 4 star hotel.

Going To Surabaya Indonesia

Tonight we are going to Surabaya. We will drive to LCCT and then take Air Asia direct to Surabaya. We going to inspect few BH there and also go to verify few land there. After that we fly to Jakarta on the 29 and 30 Nov we will be at Jakarta and going to visit Eka Walet and also attend Pak Hen Seminar. Hope can learn more about swiftlet during this trip. I will post all about this trip to share with you.

BM Progress ....

Total more then 2000 LWbrrick already at the side now. This LWbrick is 6 inch X 24 inch X 8 inch. Very good for swiftlet farming house because it can reduce a lot of heat.

Ah pak is monitor the worker for attach the " tiang "

All the : tiang " is finish attach and tomorrow the worker can start attach the LW Brick.

Yesterday, the worker just need about 3 hour to finish the base. What a good job for Ah Pak.

The worker are measure the base so that all the base is good and flat.

Two More New Swiftlet House At Alor Setar

Pictured A and B show the internal BH that is located at Alor Setar Center. This BH already operated about 2 month but have no bird. As A conclusion, the owner sales it to my friends. After my visit to this BH, we recognize few error on this BH and going to modify it ASAP.
This BH is a Dod Kernel type. From the pictured, you can see a lot of room inside this BH. It make the swiftlet hard to fly and swiftlet can not fly free in this BH.

Below is the new BH also located at Alor Setar but not at the town center. This BH will be fully operated after i back from Surabaya Indonesia. Tomorrow we going to do the internal wiring for the internal sound.

This BH is open roof design and we open the entrance in the middle of this shop lot.

Pictured D show the open roof of this BH. The open roof high is about 12 feet from the ground.


Pictured E show one of the nesting area of this BH. We attach the nesting plank with the size of 2 feet X 4 feet. Total we have 4 nesting area in this shop lot.

Internal Sound Wiring

Today after i setup a BH at Jerlun, we went to Alor Setar to do the internal sound wiring. We are using the 2 X 6 inch tecnic tweeter. This BH size is 20 X 60 feet. So total about 90 tweeter is need to be connected in this BH. We finish all the internal wiring today and will do the speaker connection tomorrow. Planing will finish this project in this 3 day time before i go to Indonesia.
